Happy Dogs need...

In my travels walking "My" Dogs, I get to meet a lot of Dogs. Sometimes they are out walking with their family and Friends, and sometimes I meet them bored and alone at home, as we pass by.

If you or someone you know have a Dog that is being a bit rowdy or mischievious, maybe you might think about or suggest some of the essential ingredients to a Happy Dog, below.

...Training.

Happy Dogs need training.

Think of training as a positive thing. Your Dog will love the challenge and they love knowing how you expect them to behave.

The more time you spend with your Dog on training the happier, more calm and relaxed and less likely to be rowdy or mischievious.

...Activity & Exercise.

Happy Dogs need lots of activities & exercise.

...thats activities and exercise...not one or the other!

Many owners overestimate the time they are actually able to spend providing activities and exercise, and underestimate how much their Dog may actually need.

Play in the backyard is a great interaction. You can practise skills, play with doggy toys and and activities.

All dogs need some exercise. Most likely more than you can provide. Some need an actual run to get out and about running flat-chat with fetch games, walking enough for you to get a sweat up.

Keep it regular and you and your Dog will both benefit

...Family & Friends time.

Happy Dogs need Family & friend Time.

Dogs that are well socialised are happy Dogs. make sure they have plenty of opportunity to meet and interact with extended family and friends. Bothe the two and four-legged kind.

The more people and other fur-family members they meet they will be more calm and relaxed and less rowdy or mischievious in social interactions.

...Lots of love and TLC.

Happy Dogs need lots of Love & TLC.

Dog ownership is a massive commitment. For their entire lives, Dogs rely upon you for everything.

They need the proper amount of feeding (ask your vet next visit how much your dog needs).

they need lots of stimulating activities and toys.

they need lots of excerise on a regular basis

they need a caring and trusting leader they can follow

there will be vet bills for the bumps and bruises as well as regular vaccinations. You may like to consider vet health insurance!

most of all they need your time, energy and love!
