WHS: Walking Health & Safety!
Health, Safety and Security of your Dog.
You and your Dog's Health, Safety and Security are of Paramount concern to me.
I take as many measures as possible to ensure your Dogs well-being and even your own, by minimising the amount of specific information about your Dogs location and your movements.
Taking and posting of pics and stories are of course, opt-in based. Some love them, and some like not to have them.
Even though I walk a number of Dogs:
-
I never take easily identifiable pictures of your home or descriptions of where it is.,
-
I dont take pics or write what street you may live in.
-
I dont take pics or write about specific areas i walk your Dog in.
I have a background in experiential education, professional experience in extreme sports and health care.:
-
Always carry water for your Dog to drink. (dish rinsed between each dog, cleaned and even nuked daily!)
-
Always wash hands between handling each new walk.
Health safety and welfare precautions:
-
Always have a Dog friendly First aid Kit.
-
Always have your Dogs veterinary contacts in my phone.
-
Always have extra lead, Collar and check chains.

Can you tell where Phil is?
I take special care to take vague or non specific pics throughout our adventures

Drink Breaks & rests
Zoe and Joe are my most prolific walking team we have clocked over 400km! Thats thirsty and sometimes hot work.
Although i can be a hard task master, I also offer drink and rest breaks depending on each dog. Some times we cover long distances, sometimes not so much.
I always carry water and a clean dish.

Dog walking survival Kit...
You may have seen me around Bathurst walking "My" Dogs! I'm the one carrying a back pack and a small pouch strapped to my chest.
In it I carry:
-
Dog doo bags- lots!
-
Water 1.2-1.5l (up to 3lt in summer)
-
Snacks for those allowed them. or that need special encouragement.
-
First Aid kit
-
Collapsible bowl
-
Spare leads
-
Spare comfortable and secure collar
-
Couple of long check chains for those that sometimes chew through their leads (no names Joe!) I actually carry those for some strays that get about...
