Xena and Khan

This week I was also lucky enough to meet Xena and Khan, two very friendly Cane Corso's.

This was to be an introductory / meet and greet with the pair, as their owner was worried about past experiences with strangers.

We set off on a great walk in another area of Bathurst I hadn't frequented so it was all new to me.

Both Xena and Khan were very friendly with me and Khan was quite affectionate. Xena, being the boss, was still checking me out but was never standoff-ish, and let me pat and rub and scratch behind her ears!

Xena, as an older dog was a little slower, but very happy to be out for her usual twice a day walk. Khan was very inquisitive and alert and always on the lookout for rabbits! They are very lucky to have such a routine.

Xena seemed to like me towards the end and we had a few cuddles and chats along the way, and at the end Kahn wanted in on the special group hugs we had.

Hopefully I will get to see these pair again for some more walking explorations
