Muriel and I have a great casual walk today! Thanks Muriel, at least one of my team takes it easy on me…occasionally!

Muriel and I set off under a cloudy sky, but thankfully it wasn’t as cold a morning as it has been at times lately. This was our first walk without my big bright jacket on, for a little while!

Both Muriel and I usually have a nice “cold-start” as we chug up the hill. Once we get warmer and we have ironed out the kinks and stiffness, we can pick up quite a pace. Today though, Muriel was taking it very easy. Some times she is a little slower until we top-out on the otherside of the hill and then it’s a pretty fast-stepped jog on the way home.

Today we chose a very nice pace on the way home. So it was a very pleasant walk today. We got to have a good look around and take in the sights. Even though it was cloudy above we still had good views all the way to the hills.

We arrived a little later this morning, usually we keep to a very punctual time, Muriel likes punctuality in her busy day, but it was great to get home, have a small snack and then a lay down in the sun! Very nice…well earned Muriel…see you next time!
