18.06.15 Billy
Billy and I missed our walk earlier in the week. We were washed out with the rain, so it was good to see Billy before the weekend.
Billy doesn’t usually mind the rain. If theres water involved he’s happy! I usually don’t mind if it even pours with rain while we are out there… but I don’t usually like starting off in a down pour! So today it was nice to see a break in the drizzle.
Billy seemed to have missed me…or at least our walk…he was very happy as we walked along. Full of energy and shared the love at our mandatory patting request stops! He’s so funny! One minute he let off a single bark at a Dog in their yard…that, ‘…get back in ya box…’, bark that he has, next few steps, he’s stopping me for pats! Very tough Billy!
We walked around the construction site for the pond (the one that had a very large excavator tilted over the other day) there was lots of slippery mud about, billy didn’t mind but I was skating a little bit.
We got out of the mud and walked through one park, crossed a very soggy sports oval and of to the park with the creek. We stuck to the pathways even though Billy saw a few slushy mud bogs around. On the way home, I made up the extend-lead and Billy got to go for a splash. I managed to drag him away (he’d have stayed all afternoon) and we headed home.
He gave another single bark to the Dog as we passed by again. Billy seemed very pleased with himself about that. Strange kid that he is!
Well have a great weekend Billy, see you next time.
