We are so lucky to live here in Bathurst!
The Macquarie River is a great centre piece within only a couple of KM walk for most of us. It makes a great destination in itself and is dog friendly and well used by many dog owners as well as the general public.
Also, for many of us we are only a small walk away from open pastureland with its stock including horses, cattle and sheep. So our dogs get to socialise with all manner of people , pets and Farm animals.
I think our dogs are especially lucky in having owners that live in Bathurst!
On our walk today, Diesel and I covered a little more ground, and he got to meet some Alpacas. He behaved very well, and was calm and interested. Though when it came a little closer Diesel was ready to go! He was a little less nervous today, and it was nice to see he enjoyed his walk so much. I stopped to get some pics and he was a bit whiney because we stopped...so i don't mind that at all (my camera was playing up a bit so it was a longer stop than he'd have liked!)
On our walk home, despite some silly dogs barking and even a loose one, he walked with a loose lead...so he did very well.
Congratulations Diesel! see you next week!
