Today I got to Take KD and Errol for one of their regular walks near their home. It's been a bit chilly out here, but we headed off up the hill with the usual enthusiasm. In her excitement KD was a bit pooped early, but once we summitted-out she was just fine.
Errol, as usual is a bit of a nut-bag at first, but he settles in just fine. They love their walks and by the sniffing of the wind and animal pathways, they enjoy themselves immensely. At one point, we were precariously edging towards a steep slope that dropped away below us... but they were content not to follow it further...Whew!
We dropped KD off again, so she could take it easy, and Errol and I headed off again. We explored another ridge line dead end road. I also wanted to see how he'd go off-trail and just wandering through the bush.
He was a bit uncertain at first, but after some reassurance he relaxed a little more. He wasn't entirely convinced, but he got the hang of picking easier paths for himself.
Here's a pic of Errol. He was quite relaxed by this point... so well done Errol!
