It was a little crisp again this morning as i scraped ice off my windscreen and headed for Zoe and Joes place.

There were still patches of icy grass as we headed off towards the river.

Along the way we met a few more local dogs and Zoe and Joe were happy to keep on walking Zoe was funny today... she was all cuddly and checking back in on me. she came back twice for ear scratches and pats. I think she likes me!!.

As we got close to the river i spotted a fair few horses off in a paddock maybe 100m away from the fence line... but they came jogging over to say hello. so i diverted and went to see if Zoe and Joe would be nice...

Of course they were and i got to take some pics of they just saying hello.

we then went to a spot in the river with a lil pool and a riffle rapid making nice water noises.

i didnt know if they would have a little paddle, but Zoe answered by trotting straight in and Joe followed.

Zoe was happy sniffing the plants and mud, while Joe kept his eye on possibly a watery serpent...or some bubbling foam... either way he kept an eye on it just in case!

we had a little longer walk today but it was worth it seeing horses and splashing in the water.

Though this time when we got home, they were definitely pooped! we had some pats and ear scratches and they were done-in!
