Today didnt look like it'd be much fun...it was drizzling a little but the breeze blew the rain away!
When I went in to collect Zoe and Joe they were probably snuggledup in their lil home, but came out to see who was at the gate. I have been getting a very happy welcome and they like to get going quick!
Today we did the uphill first so that we could enjoy a down hill return. Judging by the energy levels at the end of the walk Zoe and Joe appreciated the down-hill cruise home. The uphill climb was a slog and the breeze was very chilly... but we made it up the steep grassy slope with tails wagging and tongues lolling!
We went off to one of my Fave parks, and at this time of year some of the ornamental trees are bare for the winter, but I like them just the same. Zoe and Joe were patient with my happy snaps of them, but really wanted to get down to the dam/pond. I didnt see the ducks, but they did and seemed very happy to watch them when we went down to the water.
Zoe splashed right in, though Joe didnt seem to want to get his feet wet today. we crossed over the dam and they then spotted heaps of Currawongs so we had to investigate those. They were quite friendly actually, and just cleverly hopped out of reach and watched us.
I'm not sure what was leaving a trail on the way home, but Joe and Zoe were noses down and tails up for a few hundred metres... what ever it was left a very exciting trail to follow.
We headed home and enjoyed the downhill run as I thought they would. As usual they still headed for the water, let me unleash them and then didnt seem to want me to leave. Mr joe was even getting rambunctious and Zoe stood in the way of the gate!LOL!
Another nice walk with the Bro and Sis team!
