The sun was really trying hard to come out today, Lots of fluffy high cloud skipping along in the sky. It was still chilly, but anticipating a long walk i was in shorts and comfortable enough!
Diesel and i set off. As always he is excited to get going, but was very patient when told to, and we are getting the harness on quicker...if mike doesnt put it on upside down!
Diesel and I headed off towards the river just below where we got to a couple of weeks ago. It's a bit of a walk, but it really only took us 20 minutes at a nice jog. We did stop at the skate park again for a drinks break... and judging by Diesels lolling tongue he was glad of the drink.
We then went down to the water where he just leapt in and pranced and splashed about. I am sure he would have gone in further if he was off lead We watched ducks landing and taking off, mostly not worried about Diesel and he watched people on the other side of the river bank.
We went a little further downstream to walk out on an old weir. I think he liked the view ,as he climbed up on the low wall without any prompting.
We headed off towards home and met with an old girl called Gypsy. Diesel was well behaved and loves meeting new friends, but gypsy liked her distance... so we said hello and headed off again. Another drinks break, climbed up n down the skate park bowls, made it across the park, crossed over the lil foot bridge and did a back-street shuffle home again.
After saying hello to more dogs we made it home.
