This is Muriel, an 8 year old girl, that was all business today...it seems she really wanted to get outside the yard, even helping me at the start...quirky girl!
Muriels Mum was relegated to the injury bench, so i was called in to help out. It was our first meet, but she was very friendly towards me and even showed me her favourite toy "Dead Cat" (no its not cat like or shaped...we don't do those things do we Muriel... but it was a very very long haired, what looked to be a mitten!)
So after our introduction and chatting about where she likes to walk and all that good stuff, we trotted off.
Muriel is a lovely girl even helping me walker up the first hills. She likes to carry the sagging lead for you so I went with that for a while. once she was happy i knew the way. Then we got down to business.
We went off to a park that had a very steep slope and i thought i'd try that... we both made it to the top and i was thinking she might have been pooped... but we stopped for a sec...ear scratches and pats, and she just kept motoring on.
Muriel got to splash in puddles (the clean ones!, i didnt want a muddy dog!) We sort of followed cycle paths to more parks circled those and headed back home.
Muriel did very well and her tail swept side to side all the way, so she was comfortable with the New guy.I hope to see you again soon!
