Rainy Day walks with Zoe and Joe...

It was pouring with rain when I left to meet Zoe and Joe, but it slowed down to a drizzle when we set off!

So it was a heavy track, and lots of puddles to splash in. We headed off towards the river again and almost made it, but we were a little slower in the wet grass and slippery mud sections. It's interesting the difference it made. Its hard work shaking off all that water!

We turned about at the halfway point and trudged through the soggy grass. After a little while Joe stopped. I was wondering what he'd spotted, but he was taking a breather. His Mum must have worn him out the other day. Zoe, just keeps motoring on though. So we had a lil rest stop, had some ear scratches and pats, and continued off again.

It must have been hard work, coz we were all slow up the hill towards home. Joe was almost needing a push by the end, but he was toughing it out. When we opened the gate, it was a very weary Sis and Bro that slowly made their way to the watering hole! We had a towel-down and some more watery shakes and they were very pooped!

I say, job done!

Thankfully the rain mostly held off and Zoe and Joe seemed to get down to business and enjoyed their walk!
