Were you able to stay warm today? It was a little chilly! I later heard there was snow predicted to 700m!
Not to be deterred, I headed off to meet Bella and Angus. two Kelpie x's, for a warm-up walk.
Their mum works, and called me in to see if i could help with their energy levels. They are great dogs, and said hello, and knew what I was there for so early in the morning when their Mum put their leads on
Of course we took off at a bolt, but soon sorted that out and about 2 houses down, i took Angus off his check chain, and he was quite well behaved. Apparently he is a handful. But once we got over the excitement of walking a "New Guy", we settled in. Angus was hanging back with me which was nice, and Bella led the way!
We went off to see some cattle I knew were up the road. Bella and Angus arent used to my photo shoots and just wanted to keep going so I happy-snapped a couple shots and away we went again. I really wanted a pic of Angus with his Namesake, the Angus cattle! Maybe next time.
We then headed off via some backstreets and walked up the highway to the giant Gold Panner, one of Bathurst's famous monuments!
It was really good to meet Bella and Angus. Bella was the one full of beans and Angus seemed happy to hang back with me. I even shortened his lead so he was walking with me and he was happy with that. He'd check in on me at regular intervals and we enjoyed our walk. Bella was on the Zig Zag trail and probably coveedr half as much again as I Walked...I'm ok with that... as long as I don't have to walk all that way too!
Your mum has booked you in for more, so I look forward to seeing you guys again!
