Muriel... easy-as...a walk in the park...

Muriel is a very popular girl. While her Mum is on the injury bench, she has lots of friends lining up to takle turns walking her.

every now and then i get a turn , she always has a full dance card.

Today she watched me arrive and i was welcomed by her at the door, already to go with her lead in her mouth... funny girl!... c'mon, hurry up, i got things to do and people to see....!.

Because Muriel has been so busy, i thought I would take it a little easier on the , ahem, old girl!

Were are both a bit stiff on hills, but once we warmed up and it got more level muriel sets a nice trot. its hard to get her to walk along...like casually... she does for a while and then gets into her trot...

We did have a nice walk, and had the whole park to ourselves except for Magpies and wood smoke. So Muriel was able to sniff and smell the whole place top herself.

We made it to the halfway point and i checked in on her again, and when i did some pats she really liked the shoulder pats... yeah... thats the spot!!!

So we headed home and she lay down for belly scratches... but didnt fall asleep!... so i think we got the distance right today!
