"There's the lead...you know what to do...!'

Billy was waiting for me today... he saw me come down the drive, but he's a lil timid at first, but i say hello and let him smell who i am and he rembers! His tail starts to wag and he waits by his lead.

We have his lead on a chair and he rests his head on the seat "pointing" to the lead. I'm glad he associates me already with a good time and a bit of an explore!

We did a nice loop today. Maybe not as far as we went the other day. but this one was all up hill to start with so we were both slogging up the hills.

Billy is so casual. he loves to just keep going. Not too distracted by people or other dogs... sure he's interested and notices... but the sights and smells we encounter as we skip along is more interesting.

Billy loves our lil stops for ear scratches, sits all patiently, but when i get the camera out he's like, '...again...! sigh!...'

We still covered some good ground and even did a lap of a big park and headed home again. we did a bit of extra time, but thats ok... we wont tell anyone Billy!

So by the time we made it home he had a well earned drink... and then pointed to his lead that i had put in the chair for next time... guess i'll be pushing him a little next time!
