What a sunny almost warm Saturday it turned out to be. Plus i got to meet Max and Roger.
Max and Roger, I was assured would be a handful... and yes at times they were... like when a very fluffy white cat caught their eye... but... well... thats sort of understandable... but they calmed down just fine.
We were mostly following a water course, so there was lots to smell and see. Kids digging and playing in the bog, a few dogs in yards and they were particularly interested in some frogs clicking away, As well as an odd bird call from deep in some bushes.
There were some muddy slippery bits along the way even Max skidded out in it. Roger was plodding along beside me but i am sure he liked squishing through it. The water course had some spongy boggy bits, some rocky sections and nice grassy slopes. it was a very nice walk and the boys got to smell lots and lots!
I don't think i really wore them out on this trip... but the first walks are get-to-know-you walks, and we rarely cover long distances. Max slowed up in the last 15 minutes and was panting from about 1/2 way, with his tongue out (it was a warm day) and Roger never even had his tongue out till the last 15 mins.
I think i will have my work cut out for me wearing these two out....
But I'll give it a go!
Nice Job guys!
