Miles with Muriel...

Muriel, as i have said before, is a tough girl. She was a lil stiff the other day so i'm always looking out for her, some sign of a niggle or twitch... but she just powers on!

We had a good hour of solid walking and she was all tail wags and that skip to her step.

We went along a path i havent taken her on so it was a bit of an exploration. But we got to a spot where she just stopped and raised a paw. hmmm thats new for me... we took a few more steps and she did the same. Each time i checked her over but nothing out of the ordinary.

So i thought maybe she didnt want to go this way. She has a couple of paths we avoid and thats ok. So we crossed the road and headed off again. She did the same again and i was a lil woried for her. So we headed off away from the path we were on, and up yet another water course i havent seen before.

It was a nice parkland so we enjoyed that.

When we got home i told her mum about the Paw trick she was doing and her mum said.... that section has Catseye burrs and she's not so keen...

I'm noy so keen on catseyes myself... so how smart is Muriel!!? Telling me there are nasty Paw piercing catseyes down there!!
