It was so nice to be out and walking again. i strained a muscle so took a couple days off!. First up was my morning crew!

So we headed off up one of my favourite walking paths. It passes a kids play ground that had a huge sand pit... so we went there and i tried to get some "Beach" shots... but i wasnt very good at keeping my fat head-shadow out of shot... but Zope and joe seemed to like getting sand between their toes!!

Which leads me to the hilarity of the day! these two always have my days starting off with a smile...

So.. i got some pebbles in my shoes and put up with it for a while, but at one mpoint had to stop to empty out the rubble...

I got one shoe off and sock when i noticed Joe, chewing on Zoe's lead... he sort of nibbles at them occasionally, so that wasnt so bad....

But in the time it took me to shake a shoe and a sock he'd cut clean through Zoe's lead!!

well done Joe... but then i had to work out a way to keep them together, so with a tricky water-knot from my rafting days... we solved that problem and off we went.

They did really well on the split lead too... just something for future reference...

...also for future reference... carry a spare lead as your emergency kit!!... comes in handy for extendo leads for swimming dogs!!!
