Everyone should get to walk Billy!

I have said before, that Billy is a casual, laid back kinda boy, but i am getting to see just how nice he is...

Billy is always happy to see me and sits nicely all on his own... as if to say... come-on, put the lead on...lets go! he does his crazy scenting and marking everything ... but by the end of his street he's all business like...Ok mike lets walk!

Then he will stop me for no real reason i can see and waits til i give him a pat or a scratch. some times he only does it on the way home and always a couple times before we enter his yard... its like...Mike... Don't go yet...

Today he was stopping me randomly... pat... scratch and walk!... Was he being affectionate...or does he know its a good rest break!? we walked alongs some cycleways in amongst some trees and had a drink break... he drank almost all the water i had (note to self, carry more water in summer!...and then we wandered off up the road to a big park... we both staggered up the hill...but we made it!

But anyway... we had a good solid walk again today... if he was tired he hid it well. The other day when we got home he flopped in the shade and sat tonhue hanging out lookin at me. But today he did his lil tail chasing dance got a lil drink and was getting im my way as i was trying to leave.

So he did pretty well again today... see you soon big guy!.
