Everyone...This is Digger... Digger, this is everyone!

This morning i had a meeting with the lovely Digger. Shes a very busy almost 2 year old Kelpie. she was very welcoming and very friendly, and liked a belly rub straight off!

Diggers family is very busy with work and school and they know she needs lots of exercise, so i get to hang with Digger to fill in the gaps where her family cant quite get to. A Very active family!

So we met up first while the family was home... i like to do that so that we don't upset an otherwise friendly dog. I do this with all my new friends...Its always a nice introduction and stress free... who is this person!?

So I went back in the early afternoon, and as expected, she remembered me, and we hooked up and headed out the gate. Did I mention Digger is a lucky girl? She has a a big family as well as "room-mates" that are chickens! So she always has friends around!

We headed off down the road and joined a nice pathway and jumped onto a levee and took in the sights. we walked all the way to a very big park and we almost made it completely across it... but that was a good effort for the first time walk... who knows how far Digger will take me... phew!

We had a quick drink and then looped around some back streets and passed some Alpacas. Digger was very curious, but was very well behaved. She has such a nice nature. friendly, curious, but happy to be doing her own thing.

We did some more back street shuffling and got home. her Mum happened to be home on arrival and Digger was very quiet and lay in the shade... very happy to have gone on a nice walk.... maybe she was worn out.... maybe she was just getting ready for more... LOL!
