Hugo!... long time no see...

I first met Hugo a few months back.

His mum and Dad needed a couple of Check-ins and some walks. Normally, like many of you awesome Dog owners take care of all the fun stuff for their fur-family member. But sometimes travel for work or shifts make things a bit tricky.

So i get to have fun with Dogs that i may not always get to see. Its always good to see "My"Dogs!

Im pretty sure Hugo remembered me. he is a very friendly Dog in anycase... but i still had a reintroduction the day before.

so we hooked up the lead and away we went. Just like it was yesterday!

we followed some watercourses, got our feet wet...id forgotten Hugo is the original water-dog...! Then we followed the levee for a while. we saw some horses, but Hugo is a part-time country Dog, so it was...'meh... ' for Hugo!

we headed home back up some watercourses and Hugo found the only clear pond of water and... of course... rolled around in it... ahhh...i remember you!!!

As i was doing a check-in as well... i got to feed and p[lay with Hugo. he is mad for fetch and loves his wading pool!

I was relieved to get Hugo home mostly dry and clean.... but that all went out the window as soon as dinner was over.... a swim and a roll in the dirt... sigh!

But we played fetch with "chicken" and what can only be described as an angry looking Mr beaver that is part frisbee, part squeaky toy!

So Hugo was completely unphased by our walk, and was running and fetching for the next 30 minutes.... I am certain he could have done that for hours...

It was great to see you again Hugo... see you tomorrow for lunch...
