Muriel leads the way...

Muriel is a quiet girl... she loves to have a good scent around the place... some things take her fancy and others aren't so exciting. She has a great memory of the surrounding area and maybe even has some favourite paths.

Today i took her along the front of a school that we normally do a big loop around or go and visit some horses. But we got to a tunnel and she looked at the tunel and looked at me.... i got the hint and was like ok...lets go through the tunnel.

Then on the other side she could have chosen a left or right, but chose to squeeze through an open gate and we did a whole lap of 3 sports ovals. we'd done a half lap a few walks ago and i am sure she remembered and wanted to go back for another explore.

Such a clever girl!

We then went back through the tunnel and walked further along the road. we had a drinks break and headed home again. after getting home, and her small walking treat, Muriel was very happy to lay down in the afternoon sunshine....

She seemed very happy with herself... good walking Muriel... thankls for the selfies too!

PS this pic is my fave. i had taken a few pics to see which one might work... in this one i was laughing as just as i clicked the button, she'd licked my ear... and smiled! Muriel cracks me up!!
