Happy Sunday Phil...!

Phil is always happy to see me and always happy to head off for a walk.

The Sun came out despite the rainfall last night, so we got a chance to get out of the house and get some exercise.

Phil is always excited the first half of his walks, as if he'd never been out before! then he settles in to tracking down scents and walks in the hope of finding pigeons. no herd of galahs or bevvy of magpies or bunch of starlings will do. he may show interest in finches and other very small birds!

We took a backstreet shuffle and walked along the tree shaded pathways. we even took some selfies as well. Phils not a fan of cameras... and yes, he knows what they are! But he always lets me get away with a few shots... the rest are basically the back of his head or his butt!... and no one likes pics of their butts!

Although it was quiet on the bird front today and there were only a few people about, Phil can always entertain himself by checking in on peoples yards. I have mentioned that he loves a good sticky beak. he likes open gates, open driveways and even looks over low fences and walls.

I just had to snap a pic of Phil finding a gap in a fence and he couldnt resist taking a peek.

After that we headed for home shuffling through the back streets again.
