So, we all know that i enjoy my sunday walks with Phil. And, we all know Phil makes me smile and laugh out loud. He has that lil quirk where he likes to keep and eye on what all the neighbours are doing by peering over fences, open gates and down driveways.

He makes me laugh 'coz he looks like such a quiet and unassuming boy. I knew we were in for a good time, when we hadn't even set foot out of the gate and he spied pigeons. So he was bouncing as soon as the gate opened. I could have turned him around and taken him back and he'd have already had fun!

We strode off and Phil had a good look about. He loves his walks. We crossed a main road and just as we did a couple of emergency services vehicles went by with their ear splitting sirens... and that was for me, who knows what it sounded like to Phil. He didnt like that so much...

Though shortly after, he was sniffing the still damp ground from the rain, and he started spotting drains and wanting a look. It was pretty funny. He just had to take a peek in the freshly flushed drains (we wouldnt be sticking our nose in untidy ones!). I wasnt really sure what was so attractive, im sure the freshly washed-over ground could have been enticing or maybe its just seeing a deep dark hole in the ground... who knows?

We kept walking and true to form there was a hole in a wire fence and he had to stick his head through! Funny Boy!

We had covered a good distance and it was thirsty work. I offered Phil a drink, but he politely only took a couple of laps and that was it. I said to Phil he should have a drink as we had a nice hill to climb, but he said ...nah... I'm good!

Alright Phil... but you're gonna be thirsty!

After arriving home, taking a few goes at the water bucket and collapsing on his cushion... I said ... see... its warm out there!

judging by his laying down on his comfy cushion, I am sure we'd covered a good distance to day. Thanks for the walk Phil.
