Phil and I see running people!

Phil didnt see me come into his yard today, until i was right in there. He was talking with some neighbours so he was a lil distracted. When he did see me... he started with the tail wags and came up for pats.... He is always glad to see me! Makes my day.

Phil and i started off and it was still cool, but by the time we saw some runners, they were all warmed up!

Phil always likes his walks even when we dont see so many birds...I think all the runners scared them off? But we did get to meet a few people who were sitting by the jogging course to support everybody ans they went by.

We even got some friendly pats and hello Phil's from some young kids. of course Phil was very well behaved, he likes kids and all the attention he was getting. Lots of gentle pats from the kids!

we kept going and did a back street shuffle, as the main "herd" of people were coming by and i think the pack of humans was a bit of a challenge for Phil.... hey mike i like people, but this is silly!

We went to a park where there were still a lot of people playing and having fun, which was more Phils speed. So we did a lap of the park, took a drinks break, but Phil wasnt thirsty...

When we got home we had covered a good distance so Phil took a big drink... so at least he got a good work out!

Good job Phil! Can you believe we have done just over 70km on our casual Sunday walks! Nice!
