Phil, like many of my dogs, are lucky to live central to a lot of pleasant walks that are not too far way. He's also lucky enough to have a nice big stride... gets us there all the quicker!
We headed off on a walk that was going to be the reverse of a walk we havent done for a little while... when we saw a left turn off a pathway... and just had to take it. it was just a little diversion that followd a leafy lil water course that you could cross up stream.
Along the way we got to see some pidgeons and we had a lil chase! Phil was happy with the detour...and as usual he got to take a peek into a few yards!
We ended up looping back to the pathway and headed for another water course. A few more pidgeon chases and even a few galahs and we came across some very interesting drains...apparently. So that was entertaining for Phil, and amusing for me.
He also jumped into and splashed about in a mud puddle... normally he keeps away from the really muddy puddles, but i think he's developing a liking for the feel of mud between his toes. And of course he slapped at the mud a couple of times and ... well... sorry mum...got a bit dirty!
So we had a drinks break and slogged it up some hills and towards home again....
Nice walk, as always Phil... I hope you got to go inside after getting a bit dirty!
