Zoe and Joe have accumulated over 120km, and always churn out more each walk. We always settle into a nice pace and we always get to my planned destinations...and then some!
We headed off up a big hill to start with, and just strode along pathway after pathway and park after park.
We headed to a pond where i knew there would be some ducks, and Zoe and Joe a ALWAYS like to see ducks. Even though we hung there in the shade and Zoe and Joe fixed their gaze on a few, they were just happy to watch...it's quite cute.
We headed off up to another park that backs onto some bush land and got dive bombed by some magpies. Zoe and joe didnt seem to notice as they were having a good look around at ground level.
We headed along some more walkways and had a drinks break. They always drink most of what i have, so i may have to carry more in summer for these two!
All along the way we walked in shade where we could and on the way home we found a nice shady grassy spot and i only had to pat the ground and Zoe was like, '...cool, lets roll around...', Joe caught on and they had a nice cool off in the shade.
Despite the drinks breaks, duck spotting and rest stop rolls we still covered a good lot of ground... well done Zoe and Joe.
