Billy makes another splash...

Billy is a real character. he always brings a smile to my face. Whether its his sudden grabs at a grasshopper, his cute water slaps and grabs or his lil road blockade till he gets a pat!

He is a great boy. He is always excited at first, and then we settle into a nice jog and sniff around. Some smells he really likes and concentrates hard on them. So i let him. We always cover some good ground so a few scents here and there are a good thing.

We went to a pond along the way. I was hoping for a nice deep hole so Billy didnt get too muddy. But it was quite shallow so the mud was pretty thick. Too late, he's already in and splashing about... ahhh well!

So he had a good splash and grab again. Though i think he inhaled on one of his splashes as he came out with a cough... but a few chest and back slaps got him jogging along ok again.

Although we covered some good ground today, we had a couple of drinks breaks and Billy didnt really take and water on board. Id say the swim cooled him off enough!
