Although it wasn't overly hot today, i still thought we would head down to the river. Scarlett was very happy to head down to the waters edge and watch what was going on. She also got to see a Dad and daughter playing in the water, and seemed very interested in that.
Scarlett did have a little paddle in a shallow pool and then we headed off down stream. The grass was still quite low just away from the river so we stuck near the water all the way to the bridge.
We stopped along the way for a rest and a drink, but Scarlett was happy to keep going on. So we continued on Downstream of the bridge to see how far we could get.
Scarlett is getting to know me and she was doing something one of my other affectionate dogs does. TShe walked beside me, looks up, then cuts me off and waits for a pat and a scratch. Yet another of "my " dogs sharing the love!
She's such a good natured girl! we also took some selfies, in a shady rest break, to see how they'd turn out As usual i get a big face lick surprise... so that was funny.
Another great walk today Scarlett.
