Diesel has a long workout.

Diesels mum was on the injury bench the other day, so I got to spend extra time trying to wear him out.... last I saw of him he was jumping up and down like he does when he welcomes me.... completely full of beans!! sigh!

Again, it was looking grey outside, but I thought it would hold off for the time Diesel and I had together today. So we loaded up into the car and headed for the park. As usual we did some practice and once again Diesel is doing really well. What is interesting is how well he goes from play mode to work mode... very clever boy!

So after a big long session in practice, we now had an even longer period to have a fun walk. So we went and followed the walkway that loops beside the river. Diesel normally gets to walk there with his mum...but it's the first time he and I have done one of my favourite loops.

We got to see people jogging, and other dogs, lots of birdlife. You just know that Diesel enjoyed himself. He loves people, other dogs... pretty much anything that moves! In the time we had left we pretty much did half of a second loop...we'd been nosing and looking about and taking our time, so it wasnt a race!

When I loaded Diesel back into the car I thought I may have succeeded in wearing him out. He did sit back quietly on the way home, but on unloading and being put back in his yard, he was as bouncy and excited as when i had arrived.... we should hook him up to the grid.... you could run a small village off the energy he has...
