Muriel was waiting by her window that commands a great view over most of her street. So there's no sneaking up on her! She came out again, carrying her lead , a wagging tail and a determination to just get going!
We headed off on a cycleway walk that heads off up a hill. We were both a little stiff at first, but as we walked on we got more mobile.
Muriel is a great walker and she loves to get up and go. The weather was pretty miserable, considering that only last week we were trying to timetable walks early in the morning or later in the afternoon, to avoid the heat of the day! No problem with that today!
We topped out over the hill and followed it along more paths. We could have come home one of a few ways, but we just did a reverse track and made use of the nice downhill walk.
We got home and it was still very chilly, but Muriel took up her rest spot at home, and i am sure had a nap before taking up her place by the window again!
Good job Muriel..
