Because it was cool today, we headed for one of our favourite watercourses. There would be very little chance that snakes might be out. Though I still kept a watchful eye out!
Zoe and Joe on the other hand were far more interested in everything else around them. Birds, horses, people and other Dogs all getting a considered look over as they went by.
So we jogged down the water course and soaked up all the sights and smells as we trundled along. We crossed the road via an underpass. When ever we pass by this tunnel, Zoe and Joe always want to take a peek, but we normally continue on. This time we went through. Zoe and Joe liked going underground and the muddy path must have felt squidgy beneath their paws.
We went out and found a nice open space and did a couple laps. Along the way we had a drinks break. Despite the cool weather Zoe and Joe worked up a nice thirst and as always drank both my water bottles... Always happy for their rest breaks!
On the way home we followed the watercourse again, and had a good look at some more magpies and Pee Wee's wrestling it out over territory.
The final stretch home was a little slower, but we still jogged along. Once we made it home, it was very quiet and all that could be heard was the sounds of drinking from the water bucket...
Great walk Zoe and Joe... and Congrats on passing 150km!!!
