Diesel Likes a car ride.

Diesel always loves a walk and is always excited to get going. Lately we have been driving to the park to practice and to take a walk. Diesel seems to like the car ride, then the walk, and the car ride home.

As usual Diesel was very excited to see me again, but he settled nicely as we hooked up his car seat harness and jumped in the car.

Diesel and I are becoming great mates, and as I am securing the straps on loading and unloading him, he rests his chin on my arm and closes his eyes... its very cute... he's like yeah, '...lets drive... after i snooze right here!'

So it's always exciting to drive to the park, as Diesel gets to look around at all the goings on outside of the yard. We went to the other end of the park today, and we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. So that was pretty nice. We did the usual drills and Diesel did really well and is always improving so thats nice to see. The dogs that surround the park are a little noisey, but Diesel seems to like his training and concentrates really well.

After the practice, we went off along the pathways and just covered some ground on a nice sunny day. Diesel trots along, he is always excited by lots of things and everything is interesting, but he is slowly losing the urgency.... must see flower...NOW! Now hes like oooh...flower!

After the walk, Diesel got in the car, we loaded up and he did his cute chin-on- my-arm-thing he does and we headed off. What was nice was that he was chilled in the back of the car... he was even laying down! I though wow all that work, walking and thinking has worn him out....!

But when i left him at home ...tired?... Not so much!
