Billy does some over time

Billy and I headed of aiming to get to and have a look at a creek. Today I was just going to take our time and see if we'd make it.

Billy can be funny in the first few hundred metres to 1 km. He likes to catch up on whats been going on and sniffs at everything so hard sometimes, I am sure he gets dust in his schnozz and does a few big sneezes! But we just get to walking and enjoying all thats going on around us.

Billy is another of my short legged Fur-friends, yet he has covered a lot of ground. Today he passed the 110km mark... so as casual as our walks can be (like today!) we still skip along at a good pace. What do they say? A journey of 1000 steps starts with just one!

By the time I'd looked at my watch we were a lil over time and still the return home walk to do! We'd stopped for a drink earlier but we also shaded up and just enjoyed the cooling breeze.

By the time we got home again, Billy flopped in the shade! He did come to the gate to see me off, but i suspect he just went back to the shade for a nap!
