The other day I got to meet Abbie and Zac. They are visiting with family in Bathurst. They are very quiet and lovely Dogs. As our first meeting was just to say hello, it was very nice. We seemed to get along nicely. So we planned a walk.
Zac looks like he’d go walkabout with just about anyone. Abbie is a little more fastidious about her walkers. We started off very quietly and we got down a street or two, but it was all a little much for our girl. So we sat in the sun, had lots of pats and back scratches and took our time to get home.
The next time I saw Abbie and Zac was to do check-in on them, feed, hang and play about. We had an endless game of fetch, and an occasional tug –o-war! We had intermission to eat, and then played some more. There were lots of pats and ear scratches and Abbie and Zac seemed to enjoy that.
It was fun to watch them playing together. Sometimes Abbie would get the ball. Bring it up to her bowl, put it in the bowl…eat some, then pick the ball up again for more fetch. It was very cute. ‘…No Zac it’s mine’, she says…
By the time I left (we hung out a little longer) I had two huffing and puffing Dogs ready for a good sleep!
Nice to meet you Abbie and Zac.
