All over the place with Scarlett!

What a great welcome I got from Scarlett this afternoon! It’s the second week in a row where she has come up and said hello and then tried to actually say, ‘…helloooooo. Oooo’. She’s so great, just what I needed in the afternoon, a nice hello…hellooooo toooo youuuu tooooo!

I did have a plan at first, just a walk along some pathways, but it was still quite warm, so change to route plan number 1, was to head to the river. So we did that, and made it in minutes! So we had a lil splash about now what?

I know, lets head up to one of my Favourite water courses. We did that, but it hadn’t been slashed for a lil while, so that was out. I’d already got burrs and other sticky things in Scarletts coat, so I was feeling bad about that. Scarlett never said anything and was having fun sniffing about. So I thought, maybe we should have stuck to the paths… so we jumped on another path.

A little way along we had a rest and drink break. Scarlett liked that, and she had a good drink….Mike liked that! I then thought lets go and have a peek at another water course, which was sort of where I wanted to go today, and see if that one was slashed yet… and it had! Yay!

But now we had 10 minutes to get home for the Halloween festivities in Scarlett’s street. We made it back a few minutes late but that’s ok. Scarlett went inside to see her mum, and as we were talking, Scarlett flopped in a pile at the door…

I knew you’d be tired after that one Scarlett….Good Job.
