Muriel: Off like a rocket...Again!

Another nice and early morning walk with Muriel. She loves the early morning starts and apparently get under everyone’s feet until she gets going!

Once again, like our previous walk, Muriel was chomping at the bit to get going, literally, as she does that thing of carrying the lead in her mouth for a little while! I don’t know what they are feeding Muriel, for most of this walk she was leading the charge at a pretty fast pace.

We got to a fork in the road where we could have gone right, or left, and Muriel seemed to want to go left… so why not? I had planned to go right, but usually Muriel knows best!

We passed some envious Dogs along the way, stuck in their yards, as well as some other lucky Dogs out for a walk with their family. Muriel always takes interest in whomever is about, but continues on her way.

Muriel is a great walker and she stops here and there to smell the roses. There is always something interesting to take in on our walks. We saw horses and ducks today as well, so that was nice. The cool of the morning seems to agree with Muriel.

We did have a couple of rests in the shade as well as a drinks break, so we didn’t keep the fast pace up for the whole walk!
