Lately I have been getting Diesel used to early rises. (well early for mike-time) His Mum takes him out much earlier than I do, so it’s no big deal for Diesel.
Once again, Diesel loves the ride. I love seeing him in the rearview mirror looking about and the funny leaning he does when we go around a corner. (no, I don’t drive fast, but I cleaned the rear seat Hammock I have for Diesel and he was slipping on it! Well, I thought it was funny!
We went to the big park and just got into it, and the first time I looked at my watche we had been going for over and hour! Wow! We were both having fun, working and playing the working and playing. Diesel is definitely play driven! But once he is done playing in our lil rest / play stops…he’s happy to sit and take in the comings and goings of people in and around the park.
Once I found out we’d been working for an hour… we downed tool and went for a walk around the park. There were lots of Magpies out today, feeding their young. So they weren’t too fussy on us getting too close. We didn’t get bombed, but they weren’t so happy. Diesel doesn’t get excited about Magpies… but like everything else, he has a good and considered look. He does like ducks, though we didn’t see any today.
We covered a good distance again today as we were doing drills around a field then did a big lap of the whole park. Well done Diesel!
