Billy does a sprint!

Today we pretty much sped along. He had a nice casual walk the other day, but today he was full of energy. Must’ve had an early night!

We started off as usual. Billy likes to see what everyones up to in his street. After he’s seen whats what, he settles into his casual stride. Today though he was in the lead and we really motored. Like we got to the “half way” point of one walk in half the time!! We seriously covered some ground.

As we passed by that lil rest break stop I was checking out Billy to see any signs of Poopedness, but he just went faster! So we kept legging it.

We leveled out, still no poopedness so I aimed for a nice shady tree with nice grass at the bottom of it, and we made that just before our half way point. Go Billy.

So we sat under a tree, Billy had a drink and we lazed in the shade. Seeing as we made such good time we stayed a lil longer than usual. When I got up Billy is like, ‘…Nah, take a load off mike…’, so I sat back down.

Not too much later, we scooted off up the hill. We had one more shady rest stop and headed off again in a pretty big loop and headed towards home.

On the way home 2 silly lil Dogs ran at Billy they have done it several times now) and Billy did so well… he’s not a fan of Dogs running at him, but he pretty much kept on walking. I do worry that a bigger Dog with Less patience than Billy, could really take offence at two dogs charging them… Sigh…

As I said, Billy was great and we motored home and had a big drink and a stretch in the shade. Good Job Billy!
