Muriel: We had the watercourse and Parkway to ourselves!

I am loving these early morning starts especially when its Muriel sharing the long shadows and foggy breath start with me. I had to ask her mum what she has been putting in her breakfast lately, ‘coz she has literally been bolting out of the gate!

Whatever it is I want some! Muriel took her lead in “hand” for a lil while as we scooted through the alleyway and headed to my Fave watercourse. Muriel gets to walk some of it with her mum pretty regularly, but her and I haven’t been up this way for a lil while now. I have been waiting for the grass to get slashed, and then last week, Muriel took a left turn when I was planning a right. No matter, all walks are good!

So we headed up the watercourse right up to the end. There was a couple of horses out in the morning sunshine. One was calling to the owners for breakfast which looked to be on the way! We pretty much sped off and headed for the park on the other side of the road. The water course is a nice slope and we slowed down a little, but when we hit the park Muriel was off again. Sniffing and snuffling her way along the path.

We got up to my fave lil shady grove and had a rest and headed home again.

By the time we got home, Muriel wasn’t even pooped. She’s fitter than she looks folks…don’t be fooled! Awesome walk today Muriel.
