Ooops I got Phil outta bed!

Today I wasn’t really watching my watch and I got to Phil’s place 1/2hr early! For some reason I was on Muriel time! He bounced out the door still, and gave me a nice hello, so that made the start to the morning well worth it.

I sort of had a plan for Phil today, and if I was up for it we’d see how far we could go. We actually saw Muriel and her Mum out for a walk in a park so we said hello and chatted. Two of my team got to meet… so that was nice. Phil, this is Muriel… Muriel… Phil!

Today was actually a bit of a slog really we did a very nice long steady down hill run around the base of a pretty big hill. We’d woven a trail along a busy road side, then turned into a nice colourful and shady parkland, then jumped on to the cycle way and followed that pretty much til its end.

Then came the hill climb. As I said to Phils Mum, I was starting to feel sorry for Phil about half way up… but then he saw some pigeons and his energy and bounce and excitement mysteriously came back! We’d actually seen a lot of bird life today. Coming down the hill we saw a pretty large bunch of Pigeons, so Phil was happy about that! When we crossed to the cycleway we saw a nice big herd of ducks…I liked that… Phil wasn’t so interested, then we saw pee wees ,Galahs wag tails (which interested Phil) and then the pigeons we saw on the way home.

Phil didn’t quite collapse… he got lots of water on board when we got home, was happy socializing and then had a stretch on one of his window side beds…

Good walk Phil… that was a nice one… sorry to have interrupt breaky!
