Muriel and I set off by jumping the back fence today to start of on a nice gentle sloping hill. Today Muriel was very happy to hold her lead for a long while…must’ve thought I needed some guidance to make sure I didn’t get too lost!
Muriel has been speeding off lately and as we pass other dogs she prances along with her head held high and tail in the air… yeah that’s right, I’m the boss!...she pretty much is!
A little while ago we climbed this hill and it was a big workout, so I thought we’d do the reverse and wander down it instead. That made the morning very casual and we covered the distance with ease.
After walking down the hill we jumped onto a cycleway and jogged along that and headed home! We got her usual lil snack and sat for a while and Muriel was hinting at belly rubs. So we did that for a lil while as our cool down.
Good walking today Muriel. These early starts are very pleasant!
