Today I got to meet Charile. He’s a 2 year old (almost), Labrador who is a very friendly and clever boy. He has a lot of energy and loves walking with his family and I may get to help out and add an extra walk here and there. Charlie is a very happy Dog and welcomed me with a smile and lots of tail wags.
I think he worked out what I was there for, pretty quick so by the time his owner got the lead and harness on he was ready to go! Charlie, like all of my team, love getting outside the yard. Charlie was very bouncy at first, but we settled down pretty nicely. Charlie does get a bit excited and isn’t a great fan of other Dogs so I thought we’d go to a nice wide open park and have a lil reminder of some things. He had a couple of wrestle plays and he liked that a lot, but is a clever boy, so knows when enough is enough and of we go again! We did that for a little while and it was a fun time. Charlie was always looking back at me with a big grin so he settled in just fine.
We headed off, after a rest in the shade but Charlie was ready to keep going. So we shade hopped along some other parks and had a shady rest and a drink. I checked in to how he was and he was like,’…ok, I’ve had a drink and we had a sit…can we go now?’ So continued on.
Charlie is a happy dog and very interested in all the sights sounds and smells we came across. He was very quick to learn and was calm around cars when we had to cross roads. He loved to look of the galahs we saw and some magpies, but wasn’t interested in chasing anyone. We didn’t see any ducks today, but I am sure he’ll be fine with them too. Like one of my other Fur-friends, Hugo, Charlie is a big fan of water and was looking at me and his empty pool, and back at me, when we came home! So His owner filled up his lil pool and he dived in. That’s my kinda boy! A water-boy… I hope we can get to have a swim somewhere some time!
Nice meeting you Charlie…good effort today.
