Just a walk in the country with Muriel.

One of the many things we are so lucky to have here in bathurst, is that its not a long walk to interesting places for our Dogs. Wide open spaces, tree lined walkways, flat easy access cycle / walkways the river and of course the horses, cattle sheep alpacas, all kinds of bird life you get to see along the way.

Today as Muriel and I strode past the 80Km mark in our walks together, we got to visit with some very beautiful horses. Muriel was peripherally interested, but i was gushing! I hadn't seen horses like these before here in Oz. I'm not a horsey person so I don't know waht they were... but i could still stand back and go naaaw!

Muriel is ever patient with me and the things i get all excited about she's like, '...mike its just a couple of horses!' Of course she behaved very well and we walked to the fence about 20m away from the horses toi see if they'd come say hello, and they did. So we kept on walking after a few happy snaps.

Muriel has been a great walker, and she loves to get out and about... Maybe your Dog would like a walk some day.
