Zoe and Joe, thirsty boy and girl

Although today was cloudy, it was still pretty warm on our walk today.My two Boxers are very thirsty workers, so despite the cloud I took along 3 litres of water… just in case!

We headed off at a trot up a hill and I tried to get the Sister and Bro team to pace it a bit. But they were keen as always to see what’s out and about. We saw a few walkers and a couple with Dogs, but Zoe and Joe are always happy to keep going. There were people and their Dogs in one park,

Then we got to see the ducks again, so you just know that they had fun looking at them stroll about ready to dive in the water or take-off…. The Ducks that is! Off in the distance another dog and owner walked around the other park while we had a rest and water break. Another Dog and their mum was walking in the last park we stopped at for a rest and water break.

Today was pretty warm, there was a lot of cloud about (maybe a storm brewing?) but it was still hard work. So I’d planned for 3 good water breaks and see what happens.

We got to our destination park and had a big long drink which emptied the 2 x 1.5 litre bottlers I brought along, so when we passed a tap along the way I refilled one just in case.

We headed off up a hill to where the big red trucks hang out. We took some more happy snaps of Zoe and Joe Checking out the Fire trucks… they seemed to be interested in the activity going on around them.

We headed off and Joe started looking for shady trees to sit under, so at one of them we stopped and had another drink. We were now on a nice walk home and I thought we’d take our time getting home, but we jogged along and made it home ready for shade and the water bucket.

They didn’t drink that much so the extra water along the way was a good idea!
