It was such a nice cool start to the morning today that it was hardly an effort at all! Muriel loves her cooler walks so we trotted off with our tails wagging, and a smile on our face… Muriel seemed to be pretty happy too!
Today I forgot my phone, it was still at home on charge! So we didn’t get any happy snaps of Muriels walk. Which is always sad as my Dogs always get to strike a pose every now and then.
Muriel and I followed some grassy paths and then jumped onto a cycleway. It was pretty busy today on the paths. People out for a walk and a cycle. Muriel loves to see what everyone else is up to.
There was even some tree-works going on as we walked along. Arborists in trees and chainsaws, cranes and one of those huge industrial mulchers! So that was pretty interesting.
We left the noise behind us and continued on. A few more bikes and friendly bell-rings to let us know someone was coming through… I like that coz then we can all pas each other with no collisions!
We went up to visit some horsey friends again. They were in the middle of their paddock, looking a little dry, so we picked some nicer grass along the pathway and offered them a munch. Muriels Mum said theres a sign somewhere about not feeding the horses…oops! Sorry. They didn’t tell me I wasn’t supposed to give them a handful each.. I guess they should have!
Muriel and I headed off home, passing more people for Muriel to say good morning to, so that was nice. We got home had our little treat and a big drink…. Its always a work out no matter how cool it is… see you next time Muriel!
