I was as happy to see Billy today as he was to see me…except I didn’t have a tail to wag, so I just gave him some scratches and pats!
We headed off in to the morning and it wasn’t as hot as it has been, so that was pleasant. Not matter the weather my team always seem to be happy and love the whole idea of taking a peek outside the gate.
We had a couple of shade and drink breaks in the shade but mostly it was the usual casual-Billy-Thursday! We looped around one of the parks nearby, cut through the middle of another and investigated a lot of different scents. One in particular, Billy was about to roll in, but even I could smell this one… so it was an, ‘…Oi, Billy get away from that..’ I have handed Billy over a couple of times very very stinky…so I am onto him now.
I guess, he feels like he has to show off to his lady friends!
So, Billy was doing his usual hold me up as were walking and waits for pats…that’s nothing new. At a couple of points during some of our walks we have to zig and zag between narrow poles that sort of stop everything but people (and smart Dogs). So you squeeze through and away you go…
It had been a whol 100m since his last pat, so he heads through as normal…but positions himself, such that no matter which side I took he was in the way!
Ok Mr gate-keeper whats the toll? You know very well mike… no ear scratches…no entry…
Billy you crack me up.
