Muriel and I headed off at a great time of the day. It wasn’t too warm, but it was a tad humid.
I thought we might head off up a nice long relatively gentle sloping hill and see how we went. We were both a little slower this morning so we had a very pleasant walk, stopping along the way when a shady spot came up.
We passed some walkers and their Dogs along the way. We all had the idea that the cool of the morning was the best time to walk. So it was nice to see everyone up and walking, riding or waiting for the school bus..
We clambered up the hill, relatively easily and we continued on for a lil while longer and had a nice break. Muriel wasn’t very thirsty at all so we just enjoyed the shade. Although we walked along the pathway we passed by any number of turnoffs to other parks and destinations. Muriel is lucky to have so much choice of where to walk nearby.
The walk home was a stroll and we made good time. Muriel loves her walks, and she was out and about taking in the scents and sounds. The walkway we used sees many walking, riding and jogging so its always exciting to sniff and see who is about.
We got home and Muriel was happy to see a family friend visiting. It was off to the treat box and the water dish and a nice stretch out on the floor…. No one can resist giving Muriel a belly scratch …so She had a good morning al ‘round!
See you next time Muriel.
