Zoe and Joe stretch out in the long morning shadows.

I am loving these quick exit starts with Zoe and Joe…. They don’t get much time to give me their usual excited welcome… but they make up for it along the way! With photo bombs, or diving on me when I was downed by a slip, or when I sit down before they want to.

We pretty much stuck to the cycleways today. Just for the fun of it. The past few walks have seen us going on unpaved walks for the most part so we just jogged along the walkways. It was really nice to be up early with the cool temps and the long shadows casting weird shapes of us all.

Zoe and Joe make me laugh! As I said we speed through the welcome and get going. Zoe isn’t so keen on that shes still excited… but Mike…you’re here, and we’re outside…awesome! So she’s all bouncy… Joe looks back at me a few times… but he has his serious face on…

When we find shade or have a drink break, we usually all sit down together and enjoy the shade and roll about or just check out whats going on. But seeing as I haven’t let the guys fully welcome me… on two days now when I sit down first to break out the water dish… they both just dived on me! Two Boxers adamant on sharing the love while you’re down is irresistible…literally… get off you two!! They’re all tail wags as I stagger to my feet…and even Joe is like, ‘… go on get down again…I dare you…! Funny boy.

We had a couple of drink breaks still and made our way home after a couple of rumbles along the way…

Good walking Zoe and Joe… but you two definitely win any wrestles we have!
