Billy missed me….!

It’s only been a day since we last walked together, but Billy was all quietly affectionate and glad to see me. I really enjoy my time with Billy as he is very casual, and every walk is the best-ever day…ever… as far as Billy is concerned!

It never ceases to make me smile when Billy stops me randomly for pats and scratches/ I haven’t narrowed it down to any one particular thing. It’s not because he’s tired, as he does it just out of his gate and up his driveway… then at random times along the way. He just seems to go, ’…Hey how ‘bout some Pats here…?’Today I made a conscious effort to stop him to share the pats and scratches. He seemed very appreciative.

Billy and I get along really well. He doesn’t cause any trouble… he only gets excited if Dogs in their yard notice us as we walk by. But Billy settles down and we go on our way.

We stop for rests… water breaks…and sometimes just to chill. And either way Billy seems happy. Today for some reason Billy was interested in magpies in our stops. He’s not usually a bird kinda guy, but they seemed to grab his attention. We passed several flocks of galahs and he wasn’t as interested.

We had a nice jog around the park and up a hill. We crossed over to some trees for a sit and a drink and then headed the same way home. The cloud was out a little and the wind was nice and cool, so it was very pleasant out for a walk today. The rain held off until the very end where we had a small shower, barely enough to wet my hat!

It was another great walk again today, thanks Billy.
